With over a decade of solo and group shows Carolyn Meyer has been a major contributor to the look of contemporary urban and landscape painting in the Bay Area. In addition she is a full time painting professor at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where she is also Associate Director of the Painting Department and Director of Galleries. Her interest in global education for the new millennium has led her to develop and build online painting classes for students around the world.

One of her proudest associations is with the BayWood Artists, a group of environmentally minded artists from the Bay Area. Her early career as an Art Director for Advertising Agencies and as a previous owner of Paris Printing are no doubt a source of creative fuel behind her numerous endeavors in the field of art and education.
