Steve Emery | Olema Valley | Size: 36 x 24
Born in Fairfax, California, Emery majored in Art at the University of California at Santa Cruz. During 1976-78 he became a founding member of two co-op art studio facilities in Santa Cruz: A printmaking workshop, and a group painting studio at the Santa Cruz Art Center. At the 1989 Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, he won another merit award, plus the Award of Excellence in 1992. Other California exhibits included one in 1993 at Gump's Gallery in San Francisco, the 1993 Sausalito Art Festival, the Susan Cummins Gallery in Mill Valley, I Wolk Gallery in St. Helena, and the Bear Valley Visitor Center. In 1996 he served as a juror for the Sausalito Art Festival.
