On October 6, 2016, Erika Klohe, MSW, Team Leader for Buckelew's Sonoma County Family Service Coordination Program, was honored with the 2016 Spirit of Service Award during the annual "October in Paradise" event held by the Sonoma County Task Force for the Homeless at the scenic Paradise Ridge Winery. Erika received recognition for her tireless work bringing the community together to improve the lives of Sonoma residents with mental illness, many of them homeless. Erika has helped thousands of families find resources and support for their loved ones and navigate the often confusing and frustrating mental health and social services system. She has brought together families, clinicians and law enforcement to make this community a safer place for anyone whose life has been touched by mental illness. Congratulations Erika for your achievements, and thank you to the Sonoma County Task Force for the Homeless for a beautiful and inspiring event!
