Our Programs in Marin
RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT SERVICES (RSS) offers 24- hour care in homelike settings for clients who need longterm support, at sites throughout Marin County.
MARIN ASSISTED INDEPENDENT LIVING (MAIL) helps clients live independently in the community, either individually or in congregate households. Staff provide a variety of supportive mental health services to assist clients in maintaining their living situation.
The SUPPORTED HOUSING COMPONENT assists clients who live in homes or apartments rented by Buckelew Programs. Supported housing clients benefit from daily, intensive services that enable them to live in congregate settings semi-independently.
SHELTER + CARE is a collaboration with the Housing Authority. The Shelter + Care Program provides housing vouchers and services for individuals with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance use disorders. The MAIL program provides a case manager for the team to provide services to selected S+C clients.
TRANSITION AGE YOUTH (TAY) program provides a variety of mental health and supportive services to young adults ages 16 to 25.
BUCKELEW EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (BES) is a comprehensive program designed to assist people in securing and maintaining employment. Services include pre-employment counseling, vocational training, job development, placement, and job coaching.
- BLUE SKIES PERSONNEL SERVICES is a staffing service that places qualified clients in temporary and permanent jobs through collaboration with local community businesses and agencies.
- BLUE SKIES JANITORIAL SERVICE is a janitorial business that offers clients training and placement opportunities. MarinWorks provides clients with paid work and employment experience that helps prepare them for work in the community.
- BLUE SKIES CAFE is a green social enterprise that serves organic coffees, teas and food. Blue Skies Cafe provides clients with paid work and employment experience that helpsprepare them for work in the community.

Buckelew Program’s provides affordable housing, employment services, and person-centered mental health services that promote wellness and recovery from mental illness. The purpose of our programs is to help people with mental illness to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.
